Polish Medical Bibliography The Polish Medical Bibliography is a bibliographic database compiled at GBL, covering medical and related sciences.
Medline Medline is a foreign-language bibliographic database. It contains, among other things, works by Polish authors, mostly in English. If you choose a language other than English for the Medline database, please contact us.

Information on the processing of personal data when ordering computerised thematic compilations

  1. Please be advised that the administrator of personal data processed is the Main Medical Library, located at Chocimska Street 22, Warsaw.

  3. personal data will be processed for the purpose of fulfilling an order for copies of library materials from GBL on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR
  4. Your personal data may be shared with other entities. In each such case, the transfer of data does not entitle the recipient to use it freely, but only for purposes expressly indicated by the Main Medical Library. Data transfer generally occurs when cooperating with a service provider (e.g. a data storage provider, IT support, library software provider). In each case, the transfer of data does not relieve the transferring party from responsibility for its processing. Data may also be transferred to public bodies, provided that applicable regulations authorise them to do so and they present an appropriate request, but never in any other case.
  5. Your personal data will be stored for the duration of order processing and after its completion, in order to fulfil the rights and obligations of the Main Medical Library arising from applicable legal regulations, including in particular tax obligations.
  6. You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, data portability, object to its processing, and withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
  7. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016.
  8. Providing your personal data is voluntary; failure to provide it will result in the service not being provided.
